Engaged couples must possess a valid marriage license issued from any State of Texas County Clerk, that is more than 3 days (72 hours) old and less than 90 days old on the ceremony date. It is the couple’s responsibility to return the completed marriage license to the county clerk where they obtained the license within 30 days from the marriage ceremony. The chapel is set atop a gradual incline in a wooded and well shaded portion of the property. Guests should be prepared for a brief wilderness walk up a gradual hill to the chapel. It is suggested that attendees wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and be prepared for the occasional presence of insects, reptiles and wildlife surrounding the chapel’s peaceful rustic setting.
NOTE: The chapel DOES NOT have a restroom facility. Please utilize a facility prior to arriving at the venue. Most services will not exceed 30 minutes in length.
Yes, the chapel has an air conditioner and a portable heater.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. Deposit applied to balance on event date. Cash, money order, Venmo and PayPal are currently accepted @chapelonmayberryhill.
Guest officiants are welcome to preside over any ceremony; package pricing does not change.
Professional or family/friend photographers are also welcome to capture your special moments during and after the ceremony; package pricing does not change. If your package contains a mini-photo session and you bring your own photographer, we will still capture photos on your digital device for your immediate social media sharing.
